A Sound Lesson of the 2010 Philippine Election

E-mail Print PDF

The 2010 Philippine National Election did give much wisdom that both national and local candidates should ponder. Analyzing the outcome of the election particularly in the Bangsamoro dominated areas will give us some thought of its effect to the winning or losing of candidates from local to national level. On the other hand, the lessons learned could also be a potential tool of the Bangsamoro in advancing their aspiration for their right to self-determination.

I am a Moro

E-mail Print PDF
By Tommy Pangcoga

(Addressed to the Filipinos of Luzon, Visayas, and even Mindanao who do not know and do not care to know because they think they already know. What a pity.)

I am a Moro. I was born that way. I have Moro blood, Moro flesh, and Moro heritage. It is not wrong to be this way. I am different from you. I do not need to be judged or looked down upon. I do not need to be converted to the ways and beliefs of the mainstream majority. I do not need to follow your ways, because I do not want to. What I need and what all of those who are like me need is your understanding and your respect for our differences.

E-mail Print PDF
By Chito Generoso

Why not just lay back, indulge in what money can buy, and be amused at how armed conflicting parties tear each other apart. So what the heck am I doing? This is my own paradox but allow me to indulge you with my own ramblings.)

E-mail Print PDF
By Mike G. Kulat
