Vision

The Consortium envisions a society governed by justice where all peoples exercise their inalienable Rights to Self-Determination, co-exist harmoniously and live in prosperity with dignity.

Mission

To empower the Bangsamoro towards peace based on justice and development that promotes human dignity.

Goal / Objectives

The primary goal of The Consortium is to unify and consolidate the Bangsamoro civil society organizations for collective actions toward social and human transformation.

The Consortium shall act:

  • As conferential body to set the general thrust and direction and common plans for CSO members;
  • As network to build and raise the awareness of members on socio-economic, cultural and political issues confronted by the Bangsamoro and their communities and develop their capabilities in the pursuit of educational, Political, Organizational and Economic Undertaking;
  • As linkage to forge unity, solidarity and alliance with other entities both at the local and international levels for common action concerns and broader concern;
  • As mechanism to develop economic-based power for organizational operations, leadership sustenance and self-reliance; and
  • As catalyst and facilitator for social change in propagating Islam as way of life.

Guiding Principles

  • We believe in our collective responsibility to build peace in Mindanao and work for the development of Muslim communities through participatory governance and leadership by consultation.
  • We believe in maximizing available opportunities for the cause of peace and social justice.
  • We commit to advance the struggle for Freedom and Self-Determination of Bangsamoro through peaceful and civil engagement.
  • We stand for a critical collaboration and constructive approach in relating with existing government institutions and programs.
  • We commit to establish mutual coordination with Moro groups that share the same principles but thread the alternatives and revolutionary path in our common advocacy and activities for Bangsamoro Self-Determination.
  • We strive to increase our constituency by reaching out the less organized and less involved segment of the Bangsamoro society namely; the academe, the intellectuals and business sectors.
